AquaMint ("we", "us", or "our") is an aquaculture farm management platform. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AquaMint mobile application, this website, and related platform services.

By creating an account, requesting Early Access, or otherwise using AquaMint, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use AquaMint.

1. About AquaMint

AquaMint is an aquaculture farm management platform for fish and shrimp farmers. This website serves as our public information resource, early access registration portal, and admin operations layer, alongside the mobile application where the core product is used.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or legally authorized to operate a commercial business to use AquaMint. By creating an account, requesting Early Access, or otherwise using the platform, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Early Access Programme

By requesting Early Access to AquaMint, you acknowledge that:

• AquaMint is a pre-release product currently under active development

• Features, availability, pricing, and timelines may change without notice

• Early access does not guarantee access to the final product or any specific feature

• Early access is provided without warranty of any kind

• We may accept or decline any early access request at our sole discretion

4. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as our platform and legal requirements evolve. We will update the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be communicated through the app or by email where appropriate. Continued use of AquaMint after updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

5. Account Registration, User Roles & Security

To use the app, you must create a secure account. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access or any compromise of your account credentials, you must notify AquaMint support immediately.

Farm workspaces support multiple roles with different permissions:

• Owner — full operational and financial control of the farm workspace, can invite other users

• Co-Owner — auditing access and read-heavy permissions to support farm management

• Lease Holder — operates specific assigned ponds, with complete financial privacy from other farm members unless explicit access is granted

• Worker — collects and enters daily log data, cannot edit historical logs or view financials

• Viewer — read-only access to operational logs, no editing or financial features

6. Data Ownership & Data Portability

Your farm operational data (feed logs, water parameters, financials) belongs to you. You may export your farm data at any time using AquaMint's built-in CSV and PDF export tools.

We do not sell your personal data.

By using the platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use anonymized, aggregated farm operational data to train and optimize our biological decision models.

7. IoT Monitoring Devices & Data Ingestion

AquaMint supports telemetry integration with registered IoT hardware monitoring devices. The following rules govern device telemetry:

• GPS Routing — telemetry payloads are routed to specific ponds based on device GPS coordinates or manual assignment

• Dual Timestamps — we record both measurement time on the device and upload time on the server, to handle offline buffering correctly

• Data Ingestion — only active devices with valid authorization tokens may ingest telemetry; inactive or unauthorized devices are blocked immediately

8. Sharing & Lending of Devices

Owners may share or lend their IoT monitors to other farms (borrowers). During the share duration:

• Telemetry data from the shared device automatically routes to and is visible in the borrowing farm's workspace

• The borrowing farm's authorized members can view real-time logs from the shared monitor

• Device metadata (such as battery and signal strength) remains visible to the owner farm to ensure maintenance checkups

9. Subscriptions & Billing

Certain features (such as exporting data as PDF/CSV, advanced AI advisory metrics, and multi-pond scaling) require a premium subscription (Pro or Enterprise tiers).

• Payments — subscription transactions are securely processed via our payment providers; we do not store credit card details

• Cancellation — you can cancel your subscription at any time through the app or platform settings; access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing cycle

• Refunds — subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law

10. Third-Party Services

AquaMint relies on trusted third-party service providers for cloud infrastructure, payment processing, mapping, micro-weather forecasts, and notification delivery. Temporary interruptions or outages from these third-party services may affect certain app capabilities.

The Website may also contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of third-party websites.

11. AI Advisory Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

AI Assists. Farmers Decide.

AquaMint provides recommendations, biological calculations (FCR, biomass, health scoring), and alerts to assist your decision-making. All AI insights are advisory only. Farmers remain fully responsible for all operational, feeding, chemical, and harvesting decisions. AquaMint does not replace professional aquaculture, veterinary, or financial counsel.

These advisory features combine deterministic biological formulas with pattern-based models trained on anonymized, aggregated farm data. Where a specific feature relies on a third-party AI model, that will be identified within the feature itself. No AI system makes autonomous farming, medical, or financial decisions on your behalf.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AquaMint, its operators, affiliates, employees, contractors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to crop loss, farm damage, loss of profits, data loss, or equipment failures resulting from using this platform.

The website and app are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including that they will be available at all times, error-free, accurate, complete, current, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

12. Acceptable Use & Intellectual Property

You agree not to modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or copy any code, algorithms, or visual designs of the AquaMint application or website. All AquaMint trademarks, branding, logos, software, algorithms, documentation, designs, and other intellectual property are owned by or licensed to AquaMint and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You also agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information in any form

• Attempt to access, probe, or scan AquaMint's infrastructure

• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or overload the app or website

• Impersonate any person or organisation

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

13. Force Majeure

AquaMint is not responsible for any delay, failure in performance, or service interruption caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet outages, cloud infrastructure failures, natural disasters, severe weather events, government actions, power failures, or acts of God.

14. Termination & Data Retention

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or fail to pay subscription fees. You may request account deletion at any time in Settings.

Following account deletion, certain non-personal records or transaction data may be retained where required by law, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate business obligations.

15. Privacy

Your use of AquaMint is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
